It Feels Like Christmas!!

I was going to write a "How to Decorate for Christmas" blog. But, I realized I do not follow many guidelines when decorating for the holidays. I use decorations I have collected over the years and run with what ever my artistic inspiration is telling me that day. I just cannot duplicate the same decor each year! If I walk through the room and say "I love that!" then it stays. If it has crystals, glitters and sparkles, bring it on! Join me for a holiday tour of my Historic Southern Home. I will add a few "How To" tips along the way...
My home has the nostalgia of my family's Christmas traditions and memories. However, you can incorporate any of these ideas and tips into your classic contemporary or modern farmhouse decor.

I use what I have and add natural pine sprigs, magnolia leaves, holly leaves and pinecones to bring the smell of Christmas into my home.
I start with garland on the mantle. Then add stems and ornaments.

This is the time of year to sparkle and shine! Bring out the silver and crystal. Create a magical decor for yourself, family and friends.

Ok, I know... This year's crush is Versace Prestige Gala fine china. Easy Holiday update by adding burgundy napkins and crystal napkin rings.
